Its really difficult to photograph jewelry on yourself by yourself. I think its time to invest in a remote for my camera.

i actually like that shot! i want a remote also. i have to set up my camera on a tripod and use the timer function to take shots of myself wearing my jewelry. it takes some time but it’s worked so far…
Thanks! That’s what I was trying to do, but for some reason, with the timer function, it stays focused at the point it was when I pressed the button, not when the picture was actually taken. I had to resort to standing as far away as possible while still be able to press the button!
