I’ll admit it – I’ve been a little lax about applying to exhibitions lately. But I got a call for entries for this show in my inbox that seems, um completely appropriate for my work. Of course, that most likely means I’ll be rejected. But still, time to dust off those old application skills.

ha! those were my thoughts exactly. i was really excited and then assumed that meant i wouldn’t get in. or i’ll forget about it until the day after the deadline and kick myself for missing it.

I have the same thoughts as Alisa. I printed out the call, and now fully believe that I’ll forget about it by the deadline. It’s so far away. But really it should fee me to make even more pieces that are perfectly suited to the theme.

I am really excited for this show as well. The jurors were graduate students at the school I went to when I was an undergrad. They both have amazing work and will put together a beautiful show. I think you will get in for sure! It really does seem like it was written about your work:)
Anytime a show is perfect for me I have the same thought. Nice to know I’m not the only one.
