Just got a call from my bike shop letting me know that my bike is totaled. (That’s the problem with carbon frames, there’s no way to know if the frame is stressed internally, so after an accident, you really have to replace them.) You’d think I’d be happy about the prospect of getting a new bike, but I didn’t have mine that long, so its really sad. And Trek doesn’t make that model anymore, so I’m looking at something different. Sad.
RIP, Mia.

I’m sorry about your loss…I do hope your knees are better too! Ouch.
I just read your interview on ETSY and decided to check out your Blog. I am new to the blog world (just started my own)so I am interested in what artists share.
Good luck bike hunting.
Love your work,
Andrea

HUGE bummer! My bike was stolen a few years ago and I haven’t had the money to replace it since. Every spring and summer I miss it like craaaazy.

I feel your pain (well, not the pain from crashing, but the bike loss pain). My bike got stolen a while back, and I had loved that bike for a long time. It was sad. But hey, I have a new blue bike now, and it is riding just fine! Good luck in the bike search. Found your blog through the featured seller on Etsy by the way–I love your work!
