When I first designed the cozy/cuff SNAP, I added a pair of snaps at the top and bottom of the band. (Like the picture below.) After some feedback from friends, I decided to try one snap in the center (like the picture above.) I’ve been making both versions, and I took both versions to the gift fair, where the reaction was about fifty/fifty.
I thought about continuing to make both, but its making keeping inventory on hand difficult. Now I have to keep twice as many styles in stock!
So, I thought I’d ask my wonderful blog readers – which do you like better, one snap or two?

one snap ๐

two – looks more balanced ๐

I like the look of two, because it gives it a bit of an industrial feel, and will probably add to the life of the product, whereas with one snap the edges may tend to flare out a bit over time.

I was kinda thinking what Catherine said, but I was leaning toward one snap…only if the flaring on top/bottom was not an issue. I'm thinking of someone using one hand to quickly snap it, and two snaps could be a PIA. Hope that makes sense!!

Two!

If one does the job, I say one! Clean and deliberate.

Megan….less is always more. These are beautiful either way, but I say stick with simplicity…ONE SNAP.

2, feels more substantial, secure.

Looking through the comments sort of felt like a personality test. ๐
I go for stable and secure = two snaps.
Laura Crawford says
I like the simplicity and minimalism of just one snap, but I do wonder if the edges would curl up over time.
Emily Arrison says
I prefer the look and simplicity of one snap.

Two snaps, if it is mostly used as a bracelet. Two snaps look more like a design element rather than a closing mechanism, which is what one makes it look like. So for a cosy, one snap makes it more practical. Hope this makes sense.

I like the double snap!

i'd say two because, like some said, it looks more balanced… but also i'm very much about… i guess u could say manageability… i wouldnt want to have 1 snap and then the cuff starts folding in around the single snap or getting caught on stuff because its only secured in the center… so yeah… two snaps ๐

Hi, My first time visiting! I like both, but personally would purchase the 2 snap.

Love the simplicity of the one snap – doesn't overpower or overcomplicate the design

Two snaps is way more interesting. With just one it feels unfinished.
