Just because you’re wearing less clothes during the hotter months doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with them. Summer’s skimpier dress code provides ample opportunities to hone your pattern mixing skills, especially when you play with prints from head to toe by adding in a patterned shoe.

PS. The Audrey necklace is the perfect simple but stand-out summer accessory. (Click image for details.)

I wear platforms all the time, wekayeds and weekends, which give me usually about 4″ extra height. I’m 4’11”, so this actually makes the world a more comfortable place to be. I don’t feel like I’m literally under everyone’s nose all the time, which makes a difference in being able to engage with people. (I’m still short, of course, but in a more usual range of short instead of freakishly so.) It also makes sitting in chairs much easier; I can sit comfortably without the circulation to my feet getting cut off because of how I’m arranged.
