Since I shared one of the paintings in my studio, it seems only fair that I should take you on a visual tour of the others!
The one above is another oil painting that I thought was unfinished but actually works really well in this space. The other two are acrylic paintings that I also did a while back but only just recently decided they were finished. Both now hang on the far wall of my studio, directly in my line of site while I work at my main table.
In addition to my painting, the little painting in this pic is by Annie K. Blake. The bird print is from my long ago craft show days, so unfortunately, I don’t remember the artist.
The square painting in this picture is also one I picked up in my early craft show days, by Colette Quaglia. Though not long after I took the above pic, I ended up moving my painting further down the wall. (I was shooting video and it was awkwardly sticking out from my head.) I added the mannequin with one of my Contra Composition necklaces to balance out the bookshelf on the other side, and the result is this little tableau I’m pretty happy with:
Now that I’m done with that video project, I may move the painting back. Or I may keep it there and find something else to put in it’s place! That’s the beauty of this studio – I can constantly evolve it as the mood strikes.
And in case you were wondering, here’s a view of that entire wall, with the floor I also painted:
And a view of that wall from my jewelry work table:
PS. All of these paintings are part of my personal collection, but I do have a small selection of paintings for sale in my online store.
