Yesterday, I went to post the above picture on Instagram, then hesitated.
Why?
Because lately, I’ve been questioning whether it’s worth my time and energy to be sharing so much an a platform I (we) have so little control over. I even wrote an entire post about it on my other blog.
And of course, thanks to Digital Minimalism, I’ve already cut back my time spent scrolling on Instagram significantly.
While I’m not saying I’m on an official break from Instagram, I decided instead that over the next month I should focus more on simply sharing these behind the scenes peaks into my studio and art here on my blog. There are so many reasons for this, but part of it is that I do love having this blog as a record of my changing interests and creative passions, something I was good at in the early days, but less so since Instagram came onto the scene.
So here’s a few pics of some of my plants in my studio (along with a painting or two) for no other reason than that they make me happy to share them!
