I just love lilac season, and if I was pressed, I would probably say lilacs are my favorite flower. (Though it would be by the narrowest of margins.) It’s the smell that gets me. I grew up with lilac bushes and it’s one of the first scents I ever remember loving.
striped vase, stacking rings, and spring florals
One of my goals during this crazy time is to buy as much art as I possible can. I know how stressful financial uncertainty can be for artists (ok, for everyone, but it’s especially hard on creatives) and since I’ve had a great response to my new stacking rings, I want to help share the love!
I’ve had my eye on this Elizabeth Benotti vase for a while now, and finally decided to was time to scoop it up before someone else did! And I’m happy to report it’s even more stunning in person! As soon as I opened it, I knew I need to fill it with lilacs, daffodils, and irises from my garden!
my new colorful stacking rings can handle handwashing
With all the added emphasis on hand washing right now, it was only a matter of time until a bar of soap became the subject of my Megan Holds Things series. Especially because I had such a pretty bar of soap, one of the many extra bars I’ve swiped from hotels in my travels over the years. (Something that’s paying off big time now!)
a few of my favorite colorful necklaces are back in stock!
This color combo was the first one I put together when I started making my new colorful chain necklaces, and I’m excited to share that I just added a new batch in both the long and short versions in my online store.
And of course, you can now get a set of colorful stacking rings to match! (Shown in Stone Grey, Deep Ocean, Dusty Rose, and Pale Green.)
in the mood for monochrome: handmade mug and stacking rings in Faded Teal
I have all these grand plans to photograph the new stacking rings in lots of different color combos! But for now, I’m really digging the monochrome vibe, so I’m sticking with it!
Handmade mug is by Bell Joy Pottery and stacking rings in Faded Teal are available now in my online store!
blue circle earrings and stacking rings
Since the stacking rings in Azure Blue were getting lots of love, I couldn’t resist making my Evident circle earrings in that color as well! I just love how the blue pops off a basic white t-shirt and grey cardigan.
Both the Evident earrings and stacking rings are available in my online store.
new mugs to match my new blue stacking rings
Like most people, I’ve been confined to online shopping these days. So far, most of my online shopping has consisted of nail polish (I’ve got to coordinate with my new colorful rings!) and handmade ceramics. I’ve been a pretty avid ceramics collector the past few years, and I’m trying to do my part now to help support my fellow artists. (Not that I really needed an excuse!)
Luckily, some of my favorite ceramic artists have been crushing it lately with gorgeous new work. And even better still, I loved how when I pulled my new Bella Joy Pottery (above) and Briggs Shore Ceramics (below) mugs out of their boxes, they just happened to perfectly match my nails and new stacking rings!
colorful jewelry for your favorite white t-shirt
For years, I’ve said that I make the perfect white t-shirt jewelry. After all, nothing quite pops off a white t-shirt like a striking black necklace. But it turns out my new line of colorful jewelry is pretty great on a classic white t-shirt too!
new stacking rings in shades of blue
I’ve just added these stacking rings in various shades of blue (and mint) into my online store! I had so much fun with the photography for these and I’ve got many more images to share, but for now I’ll just post these to so you can see just how beautiful these colors really are.
stacking rings in blue, teal, and mint
I’m working on the next batch of colorful stacking rings (in some beautiful shades of blue, teal, and mint) and couldn’t resist snapping a few pics of the new rings as I went about my day. The shot above features my walk home from the studio.
