As a jewelry designer, I might be a little biased, but I think one of the best ways to keep your wardrobe looking fresh is to update your accessories. Take the above look as an example. I originally styled this as a casual off season beach weekend outfit a few years back, but by swapping out the accessories for on trend statement earrings and slides, I’m able to update a classic jeans and a button down look to something that feels very of the moment.

Of course, if you want to take this outfit even further, you can update the white shirt and denim to fit some of this year’s biggest trends: a full-sleeve off the shoulder blouse and raw edge, high waisted denim. Bonus points for wearing the blouse tucked in, which really gives this outfit a contemporary, street style feel.

I have to admit that I originally found it hard to get on board with the whole jumpsuit thing. But like pretty much any other piece in your wardrobe, it just comes down to finding one that’s cut in a way that’s right for your body type. (For me, that means a jumpsuit with a little more room in the middle, since I don’t have a clearly defined waste.) So if you’ve resisted jumpsuits because they “don’t work with your body,” I’d highly recommend giving a few a try. You might be surprised at how much you love them when you find one that works for you!

If you saw my last post (or a lot of other posts here, for that matter) then it’s no secret that I love a good maxi dress. There’s just something about feeling totally dressed up and totally comfy at the same time that always makes a maxi dress a winner.

This outfit continues my project of updating some of my favorite looks from last summer with pieces from my new collection. I love the idea of pairing a botanical-shaped necklace over the geometric print of this maxi dress. Can’t you just imagine wearing this outfit while you sip cocktails poolside? (Or as is more likely in my case, while you drink beers at the local craft brewery!)

When it comes to designing jewelry, I’m pretty much always a bigger is better kind of girl. But I know not everyone feels that way, which is why the Monstera leaf necklace is now available in three different sizes!

There’s the original long pendant (in the biggest size), a medium size that’s perfect for everyday wear, and a tiny guy, mostly because I wanted to stretch my own design muscles and see if I could make something small! (And also because it’s really sweet!)

Just when it was finally starting to feel like summer here in my part of Pennsylvania, we got hit with yet another cold, rainy weekend. Ok, I’ll admit. I’m finally all in on the statement earring trend. It’s not that I don’t love big earrings (a few years ago, I spent the whole summer designing long, asymmetrical earrings) it’s just that last summer I was so enamored with the statement necklaces of the Contra Collection. But even I have to admit that as summer heat sets in, it can be hard to work up the motivation to wear a massive necklace. Enter statement earrings – which can have just as much impact without getting stuck to sweaty summer skin. And since many of the necklaces I featured in last summer’s style posts are now sold out, I thought it would be fun to update some of my favorite looks from last summer with pieces from the new collection.
