We’ve had an unusually cold April, but one of the upsides to that is that I can do lots of layering with the one dress challenge without sweating my butt off. Take today’s outfit. I really wanted to layer this velvet cami over the dress (in a nod to the 90s) but didn’t like where the shirt hit me over the dress. So I layered on one of my favorite pieces (a high waisted midi skirt) to create a look that I really love!
I don’t know about where you live, but it’s starting to get pretty cold here in Pennsylvania. The news is even starting to throw around phrases like Polar Vortex again. And when that’s the case, the last thing I feel like doing is throwing on a dress to head out to a holiday party. (Because let’s face it, I doubt I own a pair of tights without holes in them, and I couldn’t tell you where they were even if I did.) But not to worry. You can absolutely wear pants to a party and still look chic and festive, as these eight outfits prove.
I’m working on something new (which I’ll share with you all shortly) but I need your help.
I’m looking for women who make a statement, whatever that means to you. Style icons, celebrities, leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, authors, athletes, everyday women. Living, dead. I want to hear about them.

How much did you love Leanne’s dress last night? I’m so happy she won. Can’t you just see Heidi wearing that dress? I haven’t been super impressed with PR this season, but I have been rooting for Leanne.
